I am so excited by these gorgeous photos of some of the Finders Keepers Couture collection and can't wait to the Frock Around The Clock Valentine's Vintage Fair on Sunday 5th February when Finders Keepers will be selling these amazing hats, bags and accessories.

Designed by Katrina Gormley these creations 'reverse the ideology associated with crochet, sometimes seen as an old-fashioned tradition, and create a modern, unique collection of stunning headpieces & accessories. Influenced loosely by eras of the past including the roaring twenties through to the Hollywood glamour years and beyond, they are constructed using high quality fibres and luxury yarns, while adding a modern twist through their metallic threads, vibrant colours and eye-catching embellishments. All pieces are hand-made and comfortable to wear thanks to their delicate, lightweight finish'.

The Finders Keepers collections fall into three categories - Classic and Chic, Bridal, and Fun & Fabulous, but they all have one thing in common - they are Amazing!!

We love the funky skirts in fab retro fabrics from Paula at Luvlii and now we are loving her latest recycled designs. Check out these before and after photos of unloved sweaters which have been transformed into covetable skirts. You can visit Paula at Frock Around The Clock on 6th November where she will be selling her handcrafted skirts, bags, aprons and purses.

I love it when Mary from Granny's Attic goes on one of her buying trips to New York as she always finds the most gorgeous vintage pieces for our fairs. On her most recent trip she found lots of 1950s prom dresses and signed costume jewellery so I can't wait to visit her stall at Frock Around The Clock on Sunday 6th November. Here are a few of her finds from the Big Apple.

Joanna Magennis of J'aime began her upcycling projects with the creation of colourful fabric bunting for her two daughters, and then she progressed on to bags and cushions.  Mixing vintage and recycled fabrics and adding both old and new haberdashery, buttons, belts, felt, ribbon, and whatever else takes her fancy, Joanna's designs are cute, quirky and unique. We love the big bag made from a recycled coffee bean bag, jazzed up with colourful lining and handles! Joanna will be selling these and other gorgeous creations at Frock Around The Clock in Newry this Sunday.

Another first timer with Frock Around The Clock at our Newry Vintage Fair on 11th September is Edwina from the Edwina Vintage Store in Carlingford. Edwina specialises in vintage books, hats, jewellery, bags, scarves, kitchenalia, china, glassware, clothing and linens - everything but the kitchen sink!. Here is a wee preview of some of her collection - I have my eye on the red and white polka dot teaset!.
