This year's Big Lunch coincides with the Queen's Diamond Jubilee weekend on Sunday 3rd June and we will be lunching in the grounds of Bangor Castle / Town Hall where our Frock Around The Clock Vintage Fair will be appearing for 2 days. There will be lots of vintage attractions going on as well as a fab line-up of live music so bring your family, and a picnic, and join us for some right royal fun.

Inside the vintage fair we will have a pop-up vintage tea tent run by Carrie of The Tea Boutique, where you can sit in and eat cake and drink tea from vintage china or purchase a take away afternoon tea and eat it in the Castle grounds. A scrumptious way to spend time with family, friends, neighbours, and get to meet new people!

This Sunday at The Retro Rooms Show we will be joined for the first time by Karen Sufferin of An Afternoon To Remember - Vintage Tea Parties who will be exhibiting beautiful vintage china (available both to hire and purchase) as well as selling divine cakes and sweet treats and telling us all about her bespoke afternoon tea party services.

It's been a while since Me Auld China took part in one of our fairs, so we are really looking forward to seeing Maria and Andy at Frock Around The Clock on 7th August.

With bases in Dublin and Bangor Me Auld China is a blossoming business  that make beautiful one-of-a-kind, unique cakestands from vintage china. It all started with a beautiful 3-tier 1950s cakestand that Maria bought for her wedding in 2009, having fallen in love with it the moment she saw it. Me Auld China also provide a tailored rental service for their extensive china collection, ideal for wedding receptions, christenings, afternoon tea parties, birthdays, or hen parties, from a small gathering of 10 to 300 people or more.
