Add Comment We are delighted that Maria and Andy from Me Auld China will be making the journey from Dublin to Belfast once again to exhibit at our Totally Bazaar Christmas Vintage Fair on 11th December. Featured in the current issue of Confetti magazine, Me Auld China are renowned specialists in vintage china and cakestands made from vintage plates, and they also offer a vintage china hire service. Maria and Andy will be offering 10% discount on their cakestands at our Xmas Vintage Fair to anyone who goes up to them, wishes them a Merry Christmas, and mentions that they have seen this post! And who could resist buying one of these cakestands! - these images from the latest Me Auld China photoshoot are simply stunning! This Sunday at The Retro Rooms Show we will be joined for the first time by Karen Sufferin of An Afternoon To Remember - Vintage Tea Parties who will be exhibiting beautiful vintage china (available both to hire and purchase) as well as selling divine cakes and sweet treats and telling us all about her bespoke afternoon tea party services. There's nothing ugly about the creations of Ugly Duckling, and we fell in love with their upcycled furniture when they exhibited for the first time at our August vintage fair. Ruth and Phill are the talented duo behind the Ugly Duckling brand and are responsible for transforming unloved furniture into something original, beautiful and fun. Having just returned from two weeks trawling the vintage stores in Orlando, we can't wait to see what treasures they bring along to our Retro Rooms Show on 2nd October. Here are some pictures of their stall at the August event as a wee taster of what's to come. Phill is also the graphic artist behind Arcane Media, and we loved his dark and macabre artworks. Visit his website to see more of his one-of-a-kind paintings and designs. It's that time again. That time just before each vintage fair when we get a preview of the latest fantastic creations and vintage finds from Jenny Bond Interiors. And as usual Jenny has come up trumps. These and more will be available to purchase at Frock Around The Clock in Bellinis, Newry on Sunday 11th September. Sharon of Innocent Chaos wll be debuting her new silk rose jewellery range at our next vintage fair in Newry, along with lots of new gorgeous charm jewellery. You can also expect to find the usual Innocent Chaos favourites including bridal brooch bouquets and vintage teacup / plate cakestands. We are excited that we are going to be joined by Julie from Emily Loves Vintage on 11th September at our next vintage fair in Newry. Julie will be selling her handcrafted jewellery which incorporates recycled vintage beads and charms, as well as vintage china gift baskets, quirky teacup arrangements and collages made from new and vintage materials. We adore these gorgeously girly jewellery creations and Julie has long been a visitor at our vintage fairs so we are delighted that she is now joining us as an exhibitor. Earlier I posted about Edwina's Vintage Store coming to our Newry Vintage Fair on 11th September. We are also going to be joined by Edwina's sister Marina, who will also be selling many vintage treasures including china, brooches, magazines, scarves, kitchenalia and storage boxes. Another first timer with Frock Around The Clock at our Newry Vintage Fair on 11th September is Edwina from the Edwina Vintage Store in Carlingford. Edwina specialises in vintage books, hats, jewellery, bags, scarves, kitchenalia, china, glassware, clothing and linens - everything but the kitchen sink!. Here is a wee preview of some of her collection - I have my eye on the red and white polka dot teaset!. We always get excited to see pictures of 'new' vintage finds at Jenny Bond Interiors and wonder how they will be reworked by Jenny. A little bird tells us that she is working flat out this week to produce some new special pieces especially for Frock Around The Clock this Sunday so we wonder how these lost and founds will be transformed? And with quirky bits and bobs like these we can expect to find many unique pieces for unique interiors! |
