DECADENCE VINTAGE FAIRS

We are delighted to be joined by Saundra Roc from New To You who will be travelling all the way from Mullingar to take part in our FROCK AROUND THE CLOCK VINTAGE FAIR at Belfast Castle next Sunday, 7th April.

New To You sells sparkly vintage from dresses, tops, bags, shoes & jewellery and they are also a stockist of the fab Stop Staring clothing range. Dior, Donna Karan, Gucci, John Paul Gautier, well known designer names of today mingle with well known designer names of the past, such as, Lilly Ann, Oleg Cassini, Enid Collins and Elsa Schiaparelli, to name a few. You will find anything from a vintage 1940's hand made beaded dress, jacket and matching bag, to glitzy 1980's dresses that are a whole party just by themselves!

With winter still here even though it is officially Spring our warm woollens are still in daily use. That old saying 'Ne'er cast a clout til May is out' is one that I will definitely be paying heed to this year!

I love the cosy knits from Nancy Said so I can't wait to see her new designs at our next event FROCK AROUND THE CLOCK VINTAGE FAIR @ BELFAST CASTLE on Sunday 7th April. With fresh and zingy colours like these we don't mind keeping wrapped up through Spring into Summer!
Nancy Said will also be showcasing some gorgeous little dresses from Frock A Bye Baby so you can treat the special little girl in your life too!

We are getting very excited about our next event, the FROCK AROUND THE CLOCK VINTAGE FAIR @ BELFAST CASTLE, which is only just over 2 weeks away now on Sunday 7th April, and we are totally in love with the images from our promotional photoshoot 'Fables and Fairytales'!

Shot on location at Belfast Castle with husband and wife team Glenn and Trazanne Norwood of Norwood Photography and X-perience Boudoir, all the clothing and accessories that I used were on loan from Norma Jean Vintage.

Norma Jean will be exhibiting at the vintage fair on 7th April and will have lots of wonderful vintage treasures including china, homewares, fashion accessories, jewellery and clothing. Look out for these fabulous fairytale princess dresses that we used in the shoot!

We are very excited that new company Archive 12 will be launching at the Decadence Vintage Bridal Fair at Malone House this Sunday! A luxury private collection of orignal vintage wedding dresses, Archive 12 is founded by accomplished fashion stylist Claire Leese. Having trained in London, Claire has brought her fashion and bridal knowledge back to her home town of Belfast. With an unrivalled eye for style, she has handpicked the most beautiful vintage wedding dresses for her collection.

Each dress has been professionally brought back to life with care and love. With original pieces spanning the decades from 1920’s to the 1970’s, she has beautifully restored each gown to a bespoke finish. Alongside the vintage dresses, the collection also includes original veils and accessories that will complete the look.

As a recent bride herself Claire loves to talk weddings, and combining her fashion industry experience with the joy of getting married is the perfect combination. The full collection will be available to view at Malone House this Sunday where Claire will be taking bookings for private appointments.

We recently used a couple of the Archive 12 dresses in our photoshoot 'The Bee Keeper's Wife' which you can view here, and we are delighted that Claire has just sent us the following images from her launch photoshoot to share with you all. Just feast your eyes on these beauties!

I have just had a glimpse of some of the fabulous vintage frocks that Fussy Galore Vintage Clothing will be bringing to the Totally Bazaar Christmas Vintage Fair this Sunday and I can't wait to see if the black lace number is in my size! Fussy Galore was with us at the Winter Wonderland Vintage Bridal Fair last Sunday so this will be the second time in a week that she has made the journey from Dublin to Belfast with a car packed full of vintage. I can't help thinking that her load is going to be a lot lighter on her way home!
