DECADENCE VINTAGE FAIRS

Loving Spoonful will be joining us again this Sunday at FROCK AROUND THE DOCK - A TITANIC VINTAGE AFFAIR! A very popular regular exhibitor of ours, John from Loving Spoonful has a fantastic range of jewellery handcrafted from silver cutlery and we are looking forward to seeing his new 'Angel' designs. These gorgeous bracelets were recycled from silver fish knives and a decorative fork, and the filigree ring matches the Angel fork bracelet.

It is now just 12 days to FROCK AROUND THE DOCK on Sunday 1st April and we are getting very excited!

This ‘Made In Belfast’ event will be a one-off for 2012 - our very own unique celebration of the city that built the Titanic - and will feature vintage dealers and creative designers selling handcrafted and upcycled fashion, jewellery, artworks and homewares which predominantly reflect nautical, Belfast, Titanic, and Edwardian themes. Many of the unique goods for sale will have been made specifically for this event and won’t have been available for sale anywhere else!

We have a new exhibitor joining us for the first time - Claire from Rua Rose will be selling handcrafted jewellery with a nautical flavour, and here is just a small preview of some of her lovely pieces.

Another new exhibitor joining us this Sunday at the Totally Bazaar Christmas Vintage Fair is John McClean of The Sugar Room, who will be showcasing his limited-edition couture Christmas cakes, award-winning cupcakes and melt in the mouth French macaroons. All of us Frockettes have an incredibly sweet tooth so we can't wait to sample these mouth watering confections!

I am delighted that Aideen McCaul of Curiosity Cured will be exhibiting with us for the very first time this Sunday 11th December at the Totally Bazaar Christmas Vintage Fair, selling a gorgeous range of vintage fashion and accessories as well as handcrafted jewellery. Check out this fabulous photoshoot of hers by photographer Louise Smith - it is just the cutest! And all the lovely vintage pieces and Curiosity Cured jewellery will be available to buy this Sunday so come on down and join in the fun!

Congratulations to Lynda Conlon who won the 1950s style skirt from Noelle at Annabelle's Fashions at our Frock Around The Clock Vintage Fair earlier this month. Lynda chose a half circle skirt in the 'Lady Marmalade' fabric and here she is happily collecting her prize. We wish you many happy times in your new skirt Lynda! x

We love the funky skirts in fab retro fabrics from Paula at Luvlii and now we are loving her latest recycled designs. Check out these before and after photos of unloved sweaters which have been transformed into covetable skirts. You can visit Paula at Frock Around The Clock on 6th November where she will be selling her handcrafted skirts, bags, aprons and purses.
