DECADENCE VINTAGE FAIRS

I love this preview of some of the nautical themed pieces that Susannah from Keepin' It Kitsch has made for this Sunday's FROCK AROUND THE DOCK - A TITANIC VINTAGE AFFAIR! Susannah will be selling a range of handmade jewellery, greetings cards and kitsch vintage button goodies and I always come away from her stall with something to add to my eclectic collection. Come see Susannah and us all on the Belfast Barge this Sunday 1st April for this one-off and very special event!

The fabulous steampunk jewellery I used in the promo shoot for FROCK AROUND THE DOCK - A TITANIC VINTAGE AFFAIR! was made by Jennifer Robinson. Jennifer uses a mix of old watch parts, buttons and charms for this range of rings, necklaces and bracelets which are all each completely unique. A lot of the watch parts that Jenn sources have interesting engravings and inscriptions and one of the pieces used in the shoot had Belfast markings which was particularly apt for this 'Made In Belfast' event!

Unfortunately Jennifer isn't able to take a stall at FROCK AROUND THE DOCK this Sunday 1st April as she will be out of the country on her sister's hen weekend, but I will have a selection of her pieces on my own stall to complement my steampunk-inspired upcycled clothing range.

I adore this necklace from Linzi at Elephant Juice which she made from antique silver spoons and 1930s silver charms for my photoshoot to promote FROCK AROUND THE DOCK - A TITANIC VINTAGE AFFAIR! In fact we all fell in love with it so much that we couldn't bear to part with it and I bought the necklace for our lovely photographer Trazanne and then treated myself to one of Linzi's silver spoon rings!

Linzi will be selling her fabulous jewellery designs at FROCK AROUND THE DOCK this Sunday 1st April on the Belfast Barge from 11am - 4pm. Truly one-off pieces, these are all made by hand from carefully sourced decorative items of antique silver cutlery, and you are guaranteed to find something to fall in love with!

I love this bicorne hat which Leonora Ferguson Millinery made especially for my 'Made in Belfast' photoshoot to promote FROCK AROUND THE DOCK - A TITANIC VINTAGE AFFAIR! With shades of pirate chic and Lady Grantham of Downtown Abbey it was perfect for the nautical and Edwardian themes of this event! Leonora will be selling her unique millinery designs at FROCK AROUND THE DOCK onboard The Belfast Barge next Sunday 1st April and I can't wait to see what else she has in store for us!

We are delighted to have Rachel from Arbee Cards back with us on board the Belfast Barge on Sunday 1st April for @FROCK AROUND THE DOCK - A TITANIC VINTAGE AFFAIR! Rachel will be selling custom, bespoke & vintage inspired wedding stationery, handmade cards and stationery for all of life’s celebrations. Amongst many unique and gorgeous designs, we love this range of Norn Irish speak cards which are perfect for the 'Made In Belfast' theme of this event!

These Valentine's cards are so sweet! Handmade by Clare Bickerstaff of House of Cards they feature vintage postcards dating from 1900s - 1930s and range from dreamy and romantic to quirky and unusual. These and more will be available to purchase this Sunday 5th February at the Frock Around The Clock Valentine's Vintage Fair.

It's no secret that I love Jennifer Robinson's unique jewellery designs. For my birthday last year my friend Kelly bought me one of her silver sixpence double coin necklaces with matching bracelet, and for Christmas I treated myself to one of her amazing watch part bangles. Next on my wish list is one of these watch face bracelets which will be available at the Frock Around The Clock Valentine's Vintage Fair this Sunday 5th February!

Congratulations to Lynda Conlon who won the 1950s style skirt from Noelle at Annabelle's Fashions at our Frock Around The Clock Vintage Fair earlier this month. Lynda chose a half circle skirt in the 'Lady Marmalade' fabric and here she is happily collecting her prize. We wish you many happy times in your new skirt Lynda! x

I can hardly believe that it has been three years since our very first Frock Around The Clock vintage fair hit Nothern Ireland's fashion scene with a big bang at Belfast's Wellington Park Hotel on 1st November 2008! Three years, twenty-five events, hundreds of exhibitors, and thousands of frocks, necklaces, handbags and china teacups! To celebrate we are running a fantastic competition at this Sunday's Frock Around The Clock to thank our customers and visitor for all their fantastic support over the last three years.

Ladies visiting the event will have a chance to win a gorgeous skirt from Annabelle's Fashions. Handmade by Noelle, the Annabelle's collection features full and half circle 1950s style skirts created from original pattern blocks, adapted to suit the modern figure, in kitsch fabrics. The winner of this free draw will be able to have a skirt custom made in this 'Lady Marmalade' fabric, or choose a skirt from Noelle's off-the-peg range.
To enter this free draw all you have to do is complete the entry card you will be given at the pay-in desk and then pop it in the ballot box. The winner will be drawn and announced at 3pm. Good luck!!

Noelle will also be running her own Annabelle's Fashions promotion where she will be giving away a  fab Cherry Blossom lipstick, smokey eyeshadow, or compact mirror with every purchase over £15.
