I am loving the new range of old watch face jewellery from Jennifer Robinson, which includes necklaces and rings. This will be available to purchase from Frock Around The Clock this Sunday. Jennifer will be running a special BUY 3 GET 1 FREE deal for her customers on the day. Some of the necklaces are of limited stock so come on down early before they disappear! Add Comment Denise from Circa Ceramics is displaying one of her gorgeous assemblage boxes at the 130th Annual Royal Ulster Academy Exhibition, and her box 'Time To Reflect' will be on display there at the Ulster Museum until 20th November. Now we all have a chance to own one of Denise's boxes as she has a fabulous giveaway for one lucky person going to Frock Around The Clock on 6th November. The prize is 'The Winged Wean' seen below. All you need to do to enter the draw is visit the Circa Ceramics Facebook page, give it a great big 'Like' and leave a comment. The winner will be notified before 6th November and will be able to collect their prize from the vintage fair. Good luck everyone! We love the funky skirts in fab retro fabrics from Paula at Luvlii and now we are loving her latest recycled designs. Check out these before and after photos of unloved sweaters which have been transformed into covetable skirts. You can visit Paula at Frock Around The Clock on 6th November where she will be selling her handcrafted skirts, bags, aprons and purses. It nevers fail to surprise me that all the creative designers at our vintage fairs all produce very different work. We have a few exhibitors who restyle old and tired furniture, yet they all have very different looks. Some are funky, some have a distinct retro feel, but Liz from Creme de la Creme creates pieces with a very pretty, feminine touch. These photos from our August Frock Around The Clock event give a taste of what to expect this Sunday at The Retro Rooms Show. How fab are these racket mirrors - the latest creations from Jenny Bond Interiors? These will be available at The Retro Rooms Show this Sunday along with this G Plan sideboard and Jenny's unique brand of Lost and Found furniture. I love these travel-themed tables from Emily Loves Vintage, which will be available to purchase at The Retro Rooms Show on 2nd October. This sweet little table has been painted in a lovely heritage colour called Wedgewood Lilac and collaged with old pages and a vintage Paris picture, while the second has been painted in aged white and a little eau de nil and then distressed before being decoupagedwith vintage travel images and postcards. Also available will be some bookshelves in a similar style. There's nothing ugly about the creations of Ugly Duckling, and we fell in love with their upcycled furniture when they exhibited for the first time at our August vintage fair. Ruth and Phill are the talented duo behind the Ugly Duckling brand and are responsible for transforming unloved furniture into something original, beautiful and fun. Having just returned from two weeks trawling the vintage stores in Orlando, we can't wait to see what treasures they bring along to our Retro Rooms Show on 2nd October. Here are some pictures of their stall at the August event as a wee taster of what's to come. Phill is also the graphic artist behind Arcane Media, and we loved his dark and macabre artworks. Visit his website to see more of his one-of-a-kind paintings and designs. Joanna Magennis of J'aime began her upcycling projects with the creation of colourful fabric bunting for her two daughters, and then she progressed on to bags and cushions. Mixing vintage and recycled fabrics and adding both old and new haberdashery, buttons, belts, felt, ribbon, and whatever else takes her fancy, Joanna's designs are cute, quirky and unique. We love the big bag made from a recycled coffee bean bag, jazzed up with colourful lining and handles! Joanna will be selling these and other gorgeous creations at Frock Around The Clock in Newry this Sunday. It's that time again. That time just before each vintage fair when we get a preview of the latest fantastic creations and vintage finds from Jenny Bond Interiors. And as usual Jenny has come up trumps. These and more will be available to purchase at Frock Around The Clock in Bellinis, Newry on Sunday 11th September. Alicia of Sew What Interiors offers an interior design consultancy service to help clients create a unique look for their home and having also branched into revamping old furniture she will be selling handcrafted cushions, chairs and lampshades, repainted and recovered with fabric from old sample books, at next Sunday's Frock Around The Clock. |
