I love this 1960s sewing box on legs, which will be available to purchase from Granny's Attic at The Retro Rooms Show on Sunday 4th March, at the Holiday Inn, Ormeau Avenue, Belfast.

We are delighted to be joined by Joanne Mensah of Roundtower Interiors for the first time at The Retro Rooms Show on 4th March. Joanne specialises in sourcing previously loved items of furniture, then restoring and restyling them so they may be cherished once again. All pieces are hand finished using the finest laquers, in addition to paints in Farrow & Ball colours, and each piece is totally unique.

Alicia from Sew What Interiors will be joining us again at The Retro Rooms Show on Sunday 4th March. As well as fabulous retro furniture and ceramics, she will also be exhibiting gorgeous wallpaper designs and beautiful antique china and curios.

Stephanie Tanney, the talented woman behind Bee Vintage and the organiser of Belfast's Craft Cavern, will be back at The Retro Rooms Show on Sunday 4th March with a fabulous range of vintage and restyled furniture and homewares. We love her use of bright paint colours to bring classic pieces of furniture back to life! Here are some images of her stand at the last Retro Rooms Show in 2011.

We loved artist Christine Gorman's work which she exhibited at Frock Around The Clock earlier this month so I'm delighted that she will be taking part in The Retro Rooms Show on Sunday 4th March.

You can view more samples of Christine's work on her Off-One website.  Her distinctive artwork uses various images, text,  print and pattern to create a combined mixed-media collage, and each picture is unique using modern and vintage materials. Christine's artworks and bespoke furniture can be commissioned to create a personalised piece.

Persian born interior designer Mahvash Graham will be joining us at The Retro Rooms Show on Sunday 4th March for the first time, exhibiting occasional furniture and upholstery, handmade cushions and curtains.

Our next event is The Retro Rooms Show on Sunday 4th March at the Holiday Inn, Belfast. Ireland's only vintage fair exclusively for sellers of vintage and retro furniture and homewares, we have a fabulous line-up of exhibitors with fabulous retro, vintage and restyled items for the home sourced from all over the globe.

And we will be running a fantastic free competition on the day for the chance to win this Astro G Plan coffee table worth £150 (as featured in Midcentury magazine)! Its curved teak frame and central glass top looks just as good now as it did back in the late 1960s, and it is going to bring some cool mid-century style to the home of the lucky winner.

My friend Rosie and I have finally got our studio ready for the sewing and knitting workshops that we have been planning for the last year! Studio Nineteen is almost up and running and we will be kicking off our programme of workshops with our Sew Easy - Absolute Beginners class on Saturday 11th February.

We will be running this workshop as an advancers class too, and will also be running our Knitting Pure & Simple workshop for beginners and advancers, as well as a customising workshop called Rip It Up & Start Again. Initially these will be running as Saturday courses but we will be adding evening and weekday classes to the programme really soon.
